GOVET RIFU 1502 GE

The GOVET RIFU 1502 GE installations are specially designed for 20 meters long railway wagons that have to be able to refrigerate, freeze and warm and are used for all sorts of products on the entire railway net in Europe. The wagons are often away for weeks, under extreme conditions. That is why here also are very high demands of the strength of the construction, operational reliability, convenience and of course the capacity.

During the trip the installation is powered by an independent working diesel generator set. The diesel engine is almost always in continuous operation and motors with 25.000 hour on the clock are no exception. To meet these high demands we chose for a powerful five cylinder diesel engine, which is equipped with an extra fuel and oil filter and an expanded oil carter. That is why the maintenance intervals are easily extended up to 2000 hour. The wagon is equipped with two fuel tanks which both have a capacity of 700 liters. The generator is directly linked and is available in a brushless version.

The heart of the refrigerating installation is a four cylinder capacity regulated semi-closed GOVET compressor working with R404a. The evaporator is mounted outside the cargo hold and is equipped with 3 axial ventilators, which have an air output of 13.000 m³/hr. All is regulated by a PLC microprocessor, whereby reading and adjustment of the temperature takes place with a digital remote control. Later a satellite signaling system can be easily build in.
