GOVET CS-PTO drive
With the GOVET generator setup with Continuous Speed-Power Take Off, the generator is directly driven by variable transmission, which is driven by the truck engine. This variable transmission, so called CS-PTO, ensures that the generator runs on a continuous rpm at all times, no matter what the rpm of the truck engine is. Because of this, the GOVET generator supplies a 100% continuous 400 volts supply without fluctuations.
This makes the generator extremely suitable for driving, for example, reefer refrigerating installations that work on 400 volts, which makes an extra diesel generator unnecessary during transport.
Each GOVET generator is equipped with a control module which also functions as a thermal cut-out and overload protection. The last generation of GOVET generators are equipped with a fixed ventilator to be able to reduce the operating temperature even more.
