Generator with Frequency regulator
With the GOVET generator combined with frequency regulator, the generator is driven directly by a drive belt from the crank shaft of the vehicle, or via a different drive shaft of the motor-PTO.
By using an extra frequency regulator, GOVET refrigerating systems are already working on a 60% refrigerating capacity at stationary rpm, this will be 100% above 1000rpm of the truck engine. From this point, the voltage will be stable without fluctuations compared to conventional generator drives. The frequency regulator also has a soft start system which ensures that on activation the refrigerating installation calmly comes to full power, this is to prevent unnecessary strains on the rotating parts.
Each GOVET generator is equipped with a control module which also functions as a thermal and overload protection. The last generation of GOVET generators are equipped with a fan to be able to reduce the operating temperature even more.
The GOVET maintenance free carbon brushless generators are available with a capacity of 10, 15, 22 and 30 kVA.
Besides our own GOVET refrigerating installations, third party installations can be connected as well to the GOVET generator.
